I didn't want to say goodbye and would have extended the stay. My stay was very relaxing for another 4 nights. The room I got was neat, complete with a cupboard, slowest shower, a King size bed, truly enjoyed it.

We only booked this place due to the locatio being near family and this was ok.
The apartment was dirty, the landlord was rude and unhelpful, the pub was dingy and cold - 1 breakfast was enough at that place. Pictures on The Talbot's website display a ground floor entrance to their apartment, when led up a very narrow fire escape at the side of some random flats (no help with heavy cases, pram etc) this was the point where I realised things were not as expected. When wasps were entering the flat and crawling round the floor (we have a 10 month old baby), the landlord was informed - "it's the time of year" was his response. When the landlord wanted to show a valuer round the flat - I requested he put this off by a couple of hours as our baby was asleep "great, right, great" then hang up was his response. If we're such an inconvenience, then why have the place available?

Warm welcome, clean and well presented room, excellent breakfast.
No complaints at all. The lighting in the room was a little dim, making the otherwise v pleasant room seem rather gloomy, which the owners might like to consider. Everything else was v good.
